Positive Mindset Books for Nicu Parents


Keeping a positive mindset will help you get through your nicu journey. It is such a helpless situation, even as the mother. Worrying is natural. But try to keep an overall positive mindset to get you through. As a yoga teacher and student, I’m already very familiar with these concepts, but in re-reading these books I always find new learnings depending on what is going on in my life at the time. Here are a few books to keep your mind occupied during all those pumping sessions, that will teach you about the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, and more.

Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power of Now” and “Stillness Speaks” are a great place to start with this author.



Deepak Chopra - He has so many different books, I recommend searching his name on Amazon and exploring whichever titles speak most to you personally.


Rhonda Byrne “The Secret” is a great place to start for this author, among other books by her.
